Coming in late in the discussion, I would like to say that I am confused. This case has gotten enormous attention and that is good. It is a fantastic thing that I love about Norway that there is so little tolerance for older men using their power over young girls. However, why this case in particular? Has it been a signal case shaping the treatment of victims in the more numerous cases do you think?

It's not normal that the girls are so young, and that the abuser so strongly advocate his innocence in media before the trial. This necessitated the media coverage.
